Making it Pretty

This theme that I’m using for the blog is pretty nifty. It’s called Autofocus and I think it has a really nice presentation for photos. One of the best aspects, and what really drew me to it, is the way the theme grabs an image from each post and uses a portion of the image to create thumbnails that lead to the actual post. The theme even takes an excerpt from the post and shows it on the rollover along with the post title. Due to this nifty-ness I’m going to add some simple posts with images, but not a lot of commentary, to make the site pretty. Yup. I’ll come back to some of these images later if they warrant some sort of discussion such as lighting technique etc. Also, while I’m talking about making site pretty, the font, colors and layout are subject to change as I try to figure out what works best with my photography site.

With that said, here are some images of one of my favorite models to work with, Michelle Vawer. She’s originally from Hawaii and is now @ IMG Models in NY. I was visiting NY and got a chance to spend a couple of hours with her and her sister and got some fun lifestyle photos.
